Use a light mist of clean water unless a pet-safe grooming liquid is specifically intended for spray use. Avoid the eyes, ears and nose, and stop if your pet becomes uncomfortable.

Introduce the mist gently — some pets need a moment to adjust. Use only clean water or a mist specifically labelled pet-safe, and keep it away from your pet's eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

Don't use on wounds, hot spots or an area with a skin infection, and stop right away if your pet seems distressed. Always supervise use.
